Angry Window Tint Problems
I have a 2000 C230K and I got my windows tinted last year. I have noticed that the tint is progressivily getting more and more scratches on it. I took it to the guy who did the tinting and he told me that the problem was that the inside rail was not felted and the dirt would get stuck there and scratch the windows. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix it? The guy told me that he could just cut the rubber supporter out but he said it could mess up the window alignment. Thanks, Paul

FELT IS KEY
i had to pay 65.00 extra to have the felt put in with my tint at a qualified shop in Anaheim, CALI.

they said without it, it would be ruined in no time.

make sure to get the felt installed asap -- maybe an all new tint depending on how bad the scratches are.

Felt is a soft material which lines the rails of ure retractable windows to prevent them from being scratched.

I have the same problem, just not as bad. It's just a few little hairline scratches.

yea, my rear windows are pretty scratched up. you can't tell from the exterior, but if you're sitting in the back, it looks pretty ghetto
