Question rims again

Ok, how about 19x8.5's with 215/35/19's all around. Would the drop in tire size compensate for the fender gap (rubbing issue). This would be sitting on factory suspension.

8.5 will fit on factory suspension with no problem. If it were me, I would rather have a lowered car with 18's instead of a factory height with 19's. 18's will look huge on a lowered car.

Go over to one of the tread about tires and rims.
On page 2 of that tread you will be able to read the detailed
info. of Scorchie regarding your question.
