replicas...
hey man, it's sol-t. listen, replica wheels are not a bad way to go, so long as the wheel is made by a reputable company and a solid make --- not cheap/flimsy/etc. if they knock off the price of the wheel because their name is not as big as lowenhart's or they didn't have dibs on that style (i.e. -- they are offering a replica to the big, expensive, brand name), then cool... but if the wheel is less expensive because it is made cheap, then i would rock the brand name for sure. to me, yah, 4500 is a lot to spend on brand name wheels for a 15k car, but hey, if you're an enthusiast, u do that kinda stuff. that's why a lot of peeps (the one's that i know -- granted it can be kinda shallow) get expensive rims, it's for the quality and for the fact that when enthusiasts see a benz on real lowenharts --- it makes the car and they go ooohhh and aweeeee, but when they see the copy, the first thing outta their mouth's is "oh those aren't the real one's" or "those are fake" or whatever... i know this because i had been a huge e30 bimmer enthusiast. i had a 1990 bmw 3 series evo m3 hybrid... people used to try to go off and say it wasn't an M because it wasn't wide body or whatever, but anyhow, if u can deal with the dorks talkin ***** then u should go with diablo, all i'm saying is it's an image i guess, but also a matter of quality check too. hope i helped, this is a long @$$ msg.
they also make a lowenhart ld-1 copy as well... but here's the br's.
