Whats that noise
I have a high pitch squeal that occurs whenever I'm in idle or steadily going at low rpms. I shouldnt say whenever it is more like sometimes. It occurs when the car is in drive and totally goes away as soon as I put it in park or accelerate. The poly belt and the crankshaft pulley was just changed by the dealer so I dont know. Can anyone help me out? I dont want to get raped once again by the dealer.

It's the belt. New belts stretch out after the first few days and need to be retightened. The dealer should do it for you for free. It will take them 30 seconds. If not, kick 'em in the nuts and run.

Well I took my car to dealership and it is waiting to be fixed still. However when I took it back the tech went on a ride along with me, he said "I dont know why they didnt do this in the first place?" Yeah these people(advisors) dont know anything. He did not note to the techs what I meant about the squealing noise so they did not focus on finding the actual noise by using thier "expertise," instead they went off what I said. This is the same guy that was trying to say I have ro replace my whole instrument panel rather than just the bulbs for the trip display, the mileage, and the temp. Well the tech said the noise sounded like it was coming from the around the air vent, and maybe the inlet hose needs to replaced. More money out of my pocket equates to zero mods for much longer!! No he sounded like he really really wanted me to drop it off on the weekend, which I did. It was his day off. I starting to think he is the reptile of the delearship, snake tongue *******...
