1999 C230 Kompressor Belt replacement

I've searched the forum, but couldn't find any instructions how to do the drive belt replacement. Can someone let me know if there is one with pics? I also wonder if there is any special tool needed? I see the belt tensioner on top and I wonder if that needs to be removed?

Thanks!

Can some one look at this and tell me why the tensioner damper is missing?

This is an pic for SLK I think. I have a 1999 c230 Kompressor and I want to change the belts.

Do you need to remove the little shock(not in the pic) to turn the pulley to get the belt off? What about the other belt on the left for Kompressor? Is there another pulley on the left you can turn? Or once the first pulley get moved, the other belt will slip off as well?

Thanks!

got the belts job done.

Bought the E10 female torx socket and replaced both belts. Removed the fan shrud. Fan blades don't need to remove, but it was a little difficult to do the routing with blades on. Started the the belt on the left first by turning the pulley 45 degree(there is another oneon the left just like the one in the link pic ). Once this belt got removed, It was easy to remove the longer one in the pic. Installation was the reserve of the removal. I felt it may be better to take pics before the belts removal. I had to remove the panel down below to get the short belt installed because it was kinda tight to get the belt on from top. Tensioner damper was not touched. Car felt more powerful than before. The old belt still looked good though at 73K miles. Hopefully it helps whoever wants to do the DIY job. It will take more than 15 mins to get both belts done and I have a sore back now..
