95 c280 not starting after stupid mistake
yesterday, i changed airfiltered and cleaned inside air assembly, but mistakenly, i left the rag inside the assembly. it started normal this morning but after about 6 hours of rest, it did not start. i retraced my steps and found the rag, that piece og cloth, clogged underneath the airfilter. the car cranks but did not start even after attempting to jump. i am planning to restart after about 24 hours. what have i destroyed with my stupid mistake?

NO START versus DIFFICULT COLD START
I am experiencing difficult cold start recently. I scanned thru this forum and got oil change and the mechanic told me that everything is fine and there was no difficult start with him. I changed camshaft position sensor and waiting for fuel filter today and diy it by this weekend. Changing camshaft position sensor did not make any difference after about 200 miles drive. Crankshaft position sensor is involved when there is NO START, but my case is difficult cold start. What should be my next step in troubleshooting this cold start problem?
