1999 C230 AC inop
Had some welding done battery was disconnected. Runs fine reset radio and windows etc. Compressor clutch not engaging. blower is fine. AC working fine before battery disconnect. Any ideas. Am I missing some reset. Thanks

Try checking if the "EC" switch on the A/C panel is turned OFF. If the "EC" switch is turned ON, the A/C compressor will not engage since it's supposed to run on economy mode.
