Do shift knobs from other models fit our cars?
for example: knob from S class 00-present
I know the design is different on W203 and most of the new 2003 models that have same type of shifter.

Even the 203 shift knobs will fit, it's just that they will be ugly because the locking knob is unfinished on the 203 because it is normally hidden by the boot. The design of the 203 knob is similar to the 208 knob... so if you had a locking piece from a 208, it would look OK.
