Part number question - A tough one I think

Hello all,

In an effort to complete a project, I have come across a problem. The front axle brake wiring on the 202 on the right side inner fenderwell is in my way. The left side is fine, as the wires exit the splashwell towards the outside of the car. The problem is on the right side, where MB used the same wiring housing, and as such, the wires point towards the inner fenderwell.

This is accomplished by using the same angled wiring housing on both sides of the car. The housing is p/n: A0315452128, and as I stated, is used on both sides of the car.

After some research, I have determined there is a mirror image of this housing. The mirrored housings appear to be used on W203, and W204's along with some other models.

The part number of the right housing appears to be A0385452128.

Can anyone add any information to this?

I will post this on the 203 forum to see if anyone can take a peek under thier car to verify this.

Regards,
Sean

I'll take some pictures tomorrow.

Sure buddy,

I believe part number A038 545 21 28 is the mirror image of this part. I believe this part is used on W203, and W204's. I had a quick look in the wheel well of a W203, and I think the housing angled out towards the right side of the car.

I have checked, and this part is about $12. I will pick one up, and post a picture in the future.
