Dome Light Cluster Removal
Could someone please tell me how to remove the dome light cluster on a '96 W202? I think that I may have some issues with the temperature sensor.
I can remove the lenses, but not the plastic fascia on the housing.

To remove the mirror, grab the post and pull straight down. Be careful, as it takes quite a lot of force. To replace it, there are a couple of spring-loaded pins, one of which will need to be compressed to get the mirror back in place. I used a screwdriver and a lot of brute force.
To answer my own question, I finally said to heck with it and grabbed the rear edge of the dome light assembly (after having removed the lenses) and gave it a hard pull. It came right out.
