Merclover, you're making yourself hard to believe now. I clearly remember you having plastic wheel covers on what looked to be 15 inch steel rims. I went back to find the picture of that angle of your car and now you have deleted it. What are you trying to pull? Cute signature.

lol

doug

i remember that pic too

the front bumper was a 94-97 where it was a "u" shaped kind but looked photoshoped so it would have a 98-00 look.

another pic had a photoshoped body kit with like ingraved stuff in the rear bumper.

my car is still running stock wheels, 15", but in chrome.

Mercedes-Benz C240 and Corvette C5 convertible
Stock wheels

My 2000 C-class also came with 15 inch wheels. I think they were 195/65-R15's. They barely do justice to the car's abilities in handling and looks. I highly recommend people with the 15 inch wheels to up grade to 17 or 18 inch wheels, which will greater the grip and add increased safety. My car came alive literally speaking witht the 18's I put on. The car's character was transformed! But if your happy with what Mercedes Benz recommends, I can't argue with that. :p

Show a close up of the tire. They sure don't look like 16's. I had 16's and they looked a lot different than that. The correct size would be 205/55/16. The size you specify would rub like crazy.

You don't seem to understand how tire fitment goes. A 225/40/18 tire is smaller diameter than a 195/65/16. That size tire is way too big.

Now I am sure you have the wrong size. That size only fits light trucks. No one even makes a car tire in that size. Why don't you just admit that you have a stock car. (except for blue spraypaint) We don't care if you have a stock car, it's just stupid for you to tell us you have all this stuff that you obviously don't even have. You said you made a bunch of custom parts for this wonderful Kleemann turbocharger which they don't even make turbos. If I made custom parts for a turbo I would want to know where the pulleys and actual turbo is. What do all these parts connect to? We aren't that stupid. I can't believe I'm the only saying anything about this.

here we go again... just drop it!!. i dont think you ppl are stupid or anything similar (otherwise i wouldnt have joined this forum in the first place).
i am now in the process of getting a lawsuit for the guy who sold me something that wasnt the deal. he end up selling me only the turbine which is placed below that black box thingy. so im gonna take it off and ill post pictures of the turbine when i get it off. ok?
im just hoping someone gives me back some of the money

another thing. i obviously am mistaken then. what is a kompressor that a turbo isnt??.dont they both make the duty of compressing air into the engine?

turbocharger uses ejected exhaust gas to propel a turbine which is directly connected to another turbine which systematically does the same thing, only the process is reversed creating a sucking or forced air induction. this increases air pressure in the intake manifold, thus creating more air density, oxygen, compression, etc. equalling more horsepower than a super charger typically.

the supercharger increases more air pressure and density into teh intake manifold just like a turbocharger, but it is not driven on exhaust gases, but rather by a belt that is connected directly to the crankshaft.

ok.. so the kompressor does not work with th exhaust gas right it is powered by a pulley connected to the rest of the engine.......ah... now i get it... thanks rince

Take the black cover off the front of the engine and take a picture of that. You know if you prove me wrong on this I will greatly appologize. So what about this tire size and wheel situation?
