the 94 has 32k miles and the 97 has 107k miles. i have never had to do anything to them except regular maintenance ( oil, tune up, tires etc...). now, last month i had to change the tensionor on the 94 and as i turn on the car the tensionor got stuck. now what happened next was what almost made me commit suicide. the tensioner made the timing chain pull down causing a desaster. three valves to bend, cams and a whole list of parts. i rebuilt the engine myself in 4 weekends.
