before i race....
check it: my buddy just got a new 2003 is300. i want to race him, and i think i can beat him. Both auto transmissions
I did get some times on 0-60 and 1/4 mile check it out:
1999 Mercedes-Benz C230 K 7.6 15.7
2003 Lexus IS300 7.6 15.3
and im pretty sure i know how to drive my car better, and shift at the rite times...
how many cars do ya think ill take him by? :p

I just test drove an IS300 last sunday, they're kinda gutless for what they're rated at and they it didn't seem faster than my C280 although the handling and steering seemed more precise. I say probably 1/2 to 1 car length if you have a better reaction time.

benzman1, you must be in need of a nap cause pics of my car will put you to sleep. i was going to just post some pics later this summer after i write some how-to's on my website but i'll post some pics later tonight since you asked.
my future mod list includes:
205/60r/15 on stock rims (ooh how exciting)
monotube shocks
magnecor 10mm wires (3 wires for $133!!!)
window tint
i plan on keeping this car stock since this car will serve as my daily driver, hopefully i will be able to add 3-4 more cars in the next couple of years.

I'm stock also, but that's the beauty of it. My C230K is my daily commuter and I also plan to keep it stock well, maybe I'll add some performance items later but I love the style of the stock MB's. What is your web site url?

Yeah the disco is my former money pit, i find a lot of benz parts quite affordable after modifying the disco. Here are 3 pics. please post some of your car when you get a chance. And also C230Kompressed, post what happens after you race your buddy, i'm curious to the outcome.

well the ***** didnt race me with her is300. instead i raced a 2001 Honda Accord V6 Automatic. 200hp stock are they? don't seem like it!
