Steering Vibration
I have a 99 C230K with 165K miles on it, the steering wheel vibrates a little bit at slower speeds, but gets progressively worse as the speed increases. When its at its worse, high speed + bad road, the gearshift will also vibrate and the whole car will tend to shake, the steering wheel will shake about a centimeter or two up and down.
I'm gonna take it to get aligned and have them check the bearings while they are doing that.
I don't know a whole lot about cars, is there anything else I should check or something that I should change at around this mileage?

Got the wheels balanced, the vibration in the wheel seems to be much less, but not completely gone.
Is there any way this could be connected to the transmission?
The car clunks between gears sometimes, and the wheel shakes the most at around 60 to 75 mph, more or less than that it seems to shake less
