advice on a Mystery
I got the oil changed last week, and as I drove off, the "low coolant" warning light came on and has stayed on since. I checked the coolant level; it is full. (How long it's been since the system was flushed I cannot tell you.) The car does not seem to be over heating; the temperature gauge is just above the 80 mark.
Advice? Is it possible the guy who did the oil change jostled some sensor loose? Thanks in advance. -Jim
P.S. I would like to do the oil change myself. How can I get the tool/wrench needed to remove the filter housing?

These type of fiter tops are popular in newer cars and I would expect most auto supply stores would carry them.
I just had a recent major service done on it through a local Mercedes-Benz dealer, and they changed/flushed all the fluids on the car. Since then, it looks as though my car has been leaking coolant. This all came to my attention just this week.
I got in the car on Monday morning, and I saw that the coolant light came on...when I checked the coolant...it was full.
Now, whenever I park the car somewhere, I notice that it leaks coolant under the car...but when I drive off, the temp gauge stays constant, and the coolant level is full...and I'm sure that it in fact is coolant that's leaking, not anything else. I'm sorry if any of this is hard to understand, but this is my situation, and its pretty ironic to see you in the same predicament. Anyone have any suggestions of how to fix this?
