Question CD Changer question

This is probably a difficult one.
I have a 1996 C280.
A friend just "found" in the trunk of his 1997 E320 a CD changer. He does not want it any more since he changed the dashboard unit.

Does anyone have a good educated guess as to whether his changer will "plug and play" into my car?

It should, RT rear trunk, check for the harness and connectors you'll have to remove RT trunk trim panel.
