1995 C280
sell or part out?
I have a white 1995 c280 that is sitting at my buddies house. The body and interior are both in good shape. I bought a 2009 malibu a few months ago and have no need for the mercedes.
The reason I have not already sold the mercedes is because it has an occasional surging idle... it could be the harness, idle air control, or a head gasket. The blower motor has also gone out which is definitely a problem with michigan winters.
I owe 2600 on a lean against the car, so selling it for around 1000-1500 is definitely not an option. Should I part this car out? I see c280's on the road all of the time but I'm not sure on the demand for parts? Is it possible that I could get closer to 2000-2500 by parting it out? It also has 2 5" tv screens and a dvd player installed that I could sell to put toward paying off the loan.
