HELP!!!!
My 2003 C230 Kompressor Coupe is acting up but the weird thing is the problem isnt with what the light is telling me... The "Alternator/Battery" light is on but has been on and off for months.. New Battery, and the Alternator never gave up!!! I switched the plugs this summer and nothing changed... Sometimes the SRS light comes on and I loose power, then it will not switch gears for a few seconds... Then power goes back to normal!

Now when I hit it in reverse it 'almost' makes a growling noise and pushes more power than normal... When its cold it does the same thing in drive.... I feel like it could be the Power Supply, or Converter is the feeling I get or maybe the Tranny?

It seems to be getting worse and I dont want to put anymore money into it. Last year, my vaccum hose was an issue, $1000 later.

Got any pointers to help a girl out before I flip?!

I hate not being able to work on my own car but I do not speak German Cars... lol

Check the voltage regulator on the back of the alternator.
