1999 Kompresor stalling.
My wifes C230 kompressor, 140,000 miles, has suddenly stalled a few times on her way home from work. She has waited about 15 minutes and it will fire right up. There is a gas odor around the back of the car and she told me the passenger compartment has a gas odor also.
About 6 months ago we experienced the same problem, but without the gas odor. I changed the fuel filter, which was the original and had never been changed. It had seemed to fix the problem up until the past couple of days.
I searched threads and posts have said to check fuel rail pressure and check whether the fuel pressure regulator is leaking. Where is the fuel pump regulator? How do i check the fuel pressure at the rail?
Does any one have any links to show the DIY?
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
