how did it flip over??? m3's are one of the most well balanced cars out there...the pictures dont really show what it hit or whatever made it topple over like that

nevermind i figured he was going really fast towards the right, originally i thought he was drifting left... i see the car got caught up with the dirt and gravel and made it flip over

An Indy car has an extremely low CG and can flip. ANYTHING can roll over. He was in the grass and had the car going sideways. The tires dug in and --poof-- over she went. One thing you've got to try to do if you go off the track is keep the car's tires rolling fast, in either direction. A grade change while going sideways will cause you to flip. Also, it's better to hit things like tire-walls with the ends of the car, not the sides.
