Any suggestions. My strut just gave way and I haven't lifted the car yet. I'm about to do it now, but was hopping for assistance.

Not sure what its called but where the strut sits on the car looks like it rotted out and strut fell off.

Is that something I can do myself or will welded back on. Or will I need to bring it somewhere to do it?????

Dove into it and found that it will need welding. But not sure where to find the part I need. Will report back. Or if anyone has suggestions.
