Door sills

Does anyone know how to remove the door sills? My stock ones are coming apart, the metal strips to be more exact. I've seen some brabus or AMG door sills on ebay...anyone tried or have anything to say about those? Is it hard to remove the door sills and put in new ones? Thanks guys!

get a good grip underneth the sill and pull up . hard.

i accidently got my bookbag stuck under the door sill once and i didnt realize it so when i grabbed my bag, it removed the door sill. it was kinda funny. i was like oh ****! putting it back was as easy as snapping 2 legos together.

the removal noise sounds like something plastic snapped/broke, but its just actually ok. i was kinda alarmed by it too, which is why i was like oh sh**. but it turned out ok after some inspection

i think the illuminated ones on ebay still require you to have your stock sills in place for structure. i might be wrong though.

Non-illuminated stainless sills (like the AMG ones, etc.) are the same as illuminated ones, but without illumination. They just tape onto the original sills.
