1997 c280 lower controll arms replacement

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and to being a Mercedes owner as well, I must say, I enjoy BOTH a great deal. I bough my 97 c280 a few months ago and have been doing a little work to it as needed (a/c recharge, shocks/struts/springs all around, new tires) I am now told by the guy doing the work for me that my controll arms need to be replaced, not tomorrow, but soon, now that I lowered the car slightly with new H&R springs and bilstein shocks and struts, the car does drive noticeably better. I still have a little shake in the steering wheel as I drive 80 down the freeway. Do you think the controll arms are playing a part in that ? The other question is where should I look to get a good set of control arms for this car? Thanks in advance for any help and I look forward to being a long to e member.

Well lets put it this way.......do you trust your life with a poor set of control arms. I sure as hell wouldn't want you doing 80MPH on the freeway heading towards me and have one of the arms snap. If your going to spend all that money on all the other parts.....don't cut corners and get cheapo parts

i am not lookin to cut corners, i am just not sure what a good set would be. I have a budget, but I am willing to spend what is needed to get good parts.
