Hello!
It's good to be back to MB.
I just purchased a mint condition 2000 C280 sport with 14K miles. It's basically brand new. Black on black.
This is my 3rd Mercedes. (98 E430 in 1999, 2005 E500 in 2009)
Naturally, I want to get right to work...the usual. 18" AMG monoblocks and a drop. Light tint, a black grill and flat emblem.
Questions please:
- I want to do 18". What size rims and tires (front and rear) are sutible for the W202 without rubbing? I want to be at the widest without problems. Yes, I know there are charts and such but I want to know straight from the "streets."
- Where to get a great set of AMG monoblock replicas?
- Best springs to get? I want as low as possible without problems.
(sucks the W202 does not have air suspension like my previous E500! Boy, was that a treat to lower
)
Thanks!
