Intermittent starting issue
I'm new to this website, but I'm currently on my 3rd MB. This car has had some small issues, but I actually thoroughly enjoy working on MBs. Well, most. lol
Here's my current problem. Upon trying to start the car it inconsistently starts on the 1st try. Sometimes, it takes several tries, but the cranking of the engine seems to be "cut short", almost as though I just stopped trying to start it. Additionally, it throws no codes.
Once started it runs beautifully. This problem is relatively recent, but I can't remember if this problem was very common before replacing the key fob. I have changed the plugs, wires, air filter, & fuel filter. I also periordically use fuel injector cleaner. I meticulously take care of this car, so I pay close attention to all it's quirks. Any ideas are welcome! Thank you!

Here's another question, but this one may seem... silly.
Car: 1999 C230 Kompressor
Where is the intercooler pump located? No, not the auxiliary water pump (like the dealer thought I was referring to). Haha. After checking the engine over, doing tons of research & finding no answers, I'm beginning to wonder if it even has one, or if it is somehow hidden within the sandwich of radiator & IC. Any ideas?
