I need advise on how to open the cassette bay on my 2002 clk. When I press the tape bottom, the screen displays the no tape message, but it does not open, is there a way to open it with out causing damage?

My limited knowledge says to pull the deck (you need special keys to do it, and Ebay has them for around $2.00) and then take the top off the radio case, and there is a tape release clip on the side(s) of the tape that you can manually flick open with a tiny screwdriver , and the tape should be easy to pull out, with the assistance of the screwdriver to move it forward.
