im gonna change my ugly wooden panels for the sportier carbon fibre ones, so does anyone know if there are any screws that hold it in place or does it just pop off?

Depends on the year... and the type of climate control... but for MY 1996+, remove the radio with radio keys, and if there is automatic climate control, remove that too with the radio keys.

Then there are two screws at the bottom of the wood piece, and two more screws (remember those, you cut out that area for your COMAND).

How about some pictures of this process. I host at home and I am trying to build a tech "how to" site for the W202. If you have any pics of mods, upgrdes, or repairs that you did on your car please send them to me with the instructions and I can add them to the site. Who ever sends them will get full credit for that contribution.

I have not reserved the domain yet...any ideas? Once I get a domain I will then open email for the pics to be sent in.

Thanks...
