Factory CD for 99 C280
One day my CD Player just died and I got a NO MAGAZINE reading on the radio face plate. I took the player out ofthe trun and opened it up. Inside I found this wheel about the size of a silver dollar just rattling around. Upon further inspection I noticed that the wheel was actually the one that hold the CD against the drive wheel to play the CD.
I took the wheel out, opened the player and niticed wher the wheel should be. There was a small piece of plastic with a hole in it that coresponded witht the whell I found, so i pressed the wheel back on to the small piece of plastic and put it all back together. To my surprise the minute I put the CD player on IT WORKED. It appears that the two pieces had fallenn apart by eithe a bump or they just weren"t pressed together correctly. So if you have the same problem don't throw the CD player away investigate and see what is wrong.
