Nobody can "exactly" know, but guesses would be nice... I have a 97 C230 112.000 miles. I know the timing chains coming up at 130K or so. We'll see. Anyway, how much is a good price on a Head Gasket and Trans Rebuild? Not by the dealer, by an Indie. I really don't wanna have to put more work into it then it's worth. Just hoping to get buy at least 4 years. Then probably buy another Benz. Most of time sick, so not much driving. I'll probably have a 120 on it in 4 years at least. Thanks for any replies.

Just change the transmission oil. The rest sounds like overkill.
