'00 Tundra V8. Wants C43
Decisions...

Hey guys, i'm new here and i'm wondering if you all can help me with a decision.

I have an '00 Tundra right now and I like it, but since I dont have to haul around a lot of stuff anymore, i'm thinking I should trade this in for a nice C Class. I've always wanted a Benz and I think this might be a good car to start with. I'm looking at a C43 AMG I found near me and I REALLY want it. The one I found is actually cheaper than my truck also! What do you guys think?

TIA,
Len

Do a carfax on it and make sure nothing's wrong with it. If everything's cool, go for it. :0) It won't haul as much stuff as the Tundra, but it will haul a lot more ***.

Thanks Josh, i'll get on that right now. Also, how problematic are the C43's compared to the standard C's? Will I kill myself in service costs with the AMG? i'm thinking I could save a lot of money getting a 280 and using the difference to do it up my way.

hey, i work for a car dealership and we currently have a 01 tundra on ebay. one thing, power wise, i'm guessing u're going from a v8 tundra right? the 220/230/280 feels crummy compared to tundra's acceleration and throttle response. i haven't driven a amg but i've noticed the newer c-classes(w203's) feel alot better than before as acceleration wise. i'd prolly go with a c43 cuz i bet it doesn't have the weird pedal feel cuz of more engine power.

but give em all a try (c280/c43), i'd go with AMG if i were u.

It's a 99 C43 AMG black on black. 83k miles and looks super super clean inside and out. Bone stock, just the way i like it... for the first couple of weeks anyways. hehe.
