no keyless remote on driver's side
99 C280 with 130,000 miles.
I can't unlock my car from the driver's side of the car with the remote. If I walk around to the passenger side, I can. Bought new batteries for the key fob but that didn't help.
Also, the built in garage door opener quit working and the front two windows stopped working. I pulled every fuse in the car (in trunk and under hood) and they all appear fine. I opened up the driver's side doors to look for corroded wires but everything looks ok there as well. Pulled all the connectors in the door and re-seated them.
I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes, re-connected it, but no luck.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm afraid that diagnosis at my local shop could be expensive.

Update: I did an ECU reset and got the front passenger window to work. So now only the driver's windows doesn't work.
So Is that the motor, a 'control module', etc.? How do I figure out which piece is broken?
