Just Purchased A 96 C280
Just bought a 1996 C280 to go with my 03 CLK430. I am going to use it as a daily driver.

It is a one owner vehicle with 89000 miles.
It had the head gasket problem corrected at 37000 miles.
I am excited about the car because it is in unbelievable condition. The interior is in showroom condition and the car rides and feels almost as tight as my 2003 CLK. I am absolutely amazed that a car that is almost 8 years old can be in such great condition. The engine compartment looks showroom new.

Do any of you have any comments about this year of MB?

Congratulations! The only problem I had was with the transmission. Otherwise it is a great car.

Let the modding begin!
