Does anyone know what's wrong when the center vents only blowing cold air?
The outer vents and windshiled vents seem to be working okay.
Is there a switch or procedure to adjust them?
Thanks,
Spriro

More detail please...
Can you provide some more detail please?
Are they blowing cold air and you want warm air to come out?
Are they constantly blowing cold air and cannot be turned off or switched to another vent position?

Branshew,
They are blowing cold air when they're supposed to be warm air.
For example this morning, outside temp is 73, I set the climate control at 72. The outer vents are blowing warm air but the middle vents are blowing cold as if it was 90 outside.
The On/Off is working okay and the blower regulator is fine too.
Although I notice when I manually switch the vents to the feet and windshield, the center vents are still blowing.
Thanks for the reply!

I have a 99 C280. When I set the temp gauge to anything under 78 degrees, it feels like cold air to me. Above that temp and it feels like warm air - regardless of the outside temp. Have you cranked it up to 80 or 85 to see if cold air comes out then? Also, have you tried putting it into economy mode to turn the AC compressor off to see if that does anything?
As to the fact that the center vents still blow out when you switch to the other vent settings, I could only speculate that the air deflector is not working properly - possibly sticking or something wrong in the vac. system that controlls it.
