2004 C230 Kompressor Maintenance
From American Ford, Chevrolet vehicles to a foreign German car. I decided to buy a 2004 C230 Kompressor with a 6-speed Manual Transmission. Has 110k miles for only $7,900.. I figured why not, I wasn't enjoying the stiff ride of an Ford Escort. So here I am, it's running amazingly without one complaint. Though I plan to keep it that way. I have a chunk of change saved just for her too. First off I'd like to thank you all for reading my thread, for it is my first of many. Next is my question of maintenance on this type of car. What should I be looking out for? I'm beginning to hear some hissing from the front wheels. Goes away when I tap the brakes, but other's have said it might be the wheel bearing going bad. Any suggestions on figuring this out and if so, where do you think I can get a hold of some good stock wheel bearings? Once again thanks, and please point me on the right direction for some helpful information. -- I don't want her on the side of the road, she deserves going 95 mph on the high way instead.
Thanks,
