tranny oil leaking into motor oil
I have a 96 c220 that I just bought when I bought the car the motor oil was about 5 to 6 quarts over full so I changed the oil and filter and also changed the trans. filter and oil about 1000 miles later the trans. started to slip so I checked the trans fluid and it was empty but no external leaks so I filled it back up and after that I checked the engine oil and it is over full again by what seems to be about 3 qts. Does anyone know where the trans oil can enter the motor at ???
Thanks
Butch

Bud On my 96 c280 the tranny if i am not mistaken uses the same radiator as the motor uses! With that said I would pull that radiator and have it checked a.s.a.p.. A radiator cost 150-450$ a tranny 1500-3500$. Hope this helps.

Possibly through the vacuum system?
I had a ford truck that had a bad vacuum kick-down device on the transmission.
It was leaking internally and the trans fluid was getting sucked into the intake manifold.
It didn't make the exhaust smell like french fries.
