W202 C180
W202 C180 Fuel Guage not Working
I have a 95 W202 C180 and its fuel guage does not give accurate fuel detail. Normally it shows more fuel than it is in the car and at times also it fluctuates as i drive. I also changed both the fuel sending units but still it did not resolve the issue. Experts help required.

W202 fuel levelling problem
you must have the star program and you must have another c class to retrieve the codes from one car to the other.
In other words find another C class and pull dash cluster out,
plug dash cluster into your c class and take coding out of cluster,
put your old dash cluster back into your car and send coding back to your old cluster already taken from new cluster this should fix problem with accuracy on the fuel level.

faiz try this. I have recently rebuilt the head on my 96 c280. And the crew at (just answer) help me a ton. The peeps at eurotec from (just answer) It cost me 45$ but the reply was spot on!! I do hate taking my car to a shop and having them jerk me around. The man i spoke to had over 30 years experiance and took him about 10 min to solve my 3 month prob. Just a thought bud. My timing was off one tooth. I did all by what i had read just one thing was left out. The counter clockwise rotation of the intake gear. Only a true mercedes mechanic can help on some issues. And I finally bit the bullet to get it done. Hope this help's a little.
