Spring Pad Question

I went to the dealer today and they told me that #2 pads were the thickest that they had for the front. They said that they had up to #5 for the back. Is this true? Will the rear ones fit in the front? Help!

Oh yeah, one more question because I am an idiot. I am running 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 on the car and need to get new tires. What do you guys recommend as tire sizes that will give me the least chance of rubbing. Thanks!

I drive what I drive
not sure about the pads, but with 17's i would go with 225/45

45 series will make your car look meaner i think..

Heres the deal with pads, if you want thicker in front tell them to order for 210 class. the 202 only lists #2 as thickest but pads for 210 are same as 202. Its just computer thing. Hope you understand-MOE

Does that still mean that I can order the w210 pads with the front and rear versions for the w202 since they both fit eachother? I know that I can get up to a #5 pad that is made for the w202, but what do I need to order to get up to that in the front? The w210 pad? Thanks!

If you look at serial# on your current pads they begin with 210. Have your mb parts man get you front pads for the 210 in whatever size you want 1-5. The parts computer only lists #2 for front of 202 chassis but on the 210 it goes from 1-5 even though they are the same pads. I used #4 210's for my front on the c43. it came with #2 stock. Hope I clarified, my head is spinning with pads........
