10w30 good for winter months?

dealer did an oil change using 10w30...is this OK for winter months coming up ahead? they usually put in 10w40...

I doubt you will feel any change. In Boston I would be tempted to try 5W-30 during the winter.

In your owners manual you should find Mercedes oil viscosity vs temperature chart - it hasn;t changed for 30 years.
