Keyless Entry Not Working, Please Help Me!

Hello,

I have the infared keyless entry system on my 97 C230. However, I tried aiming and pressing the button on my flip style key on the back sensor, and its not working. It is not the key battery, because it works on all the infared sensors. Please help me.

i had the same problem a while back! none of my infra sensors worked. it was becuase the device that unlocked and locke the doors had become detached inside the door ( i don't know what it was called..i think a vacume pump or something like that) any way it fixed the problem immediately. also i have replace the sensor for the back and it was 80 dollars and took about 3 min to install

I had this same problem a couple of months ago. Key fob worked one day, then nothing. I got mine to work by disconecting the battery on the car and the reconnecting. The key fob worked after that.
