Dashboard all lit up
I have a 1996 c220. Last year the ABS, brake pad and brake lights on the dashboard came on. All three. When that happened the speedometer stopped working. when that happens and you slow down the engine cuts out. Dangerous thing to happen on the freeway because you have to completely stop the car and put the shift to park to restart the engine. I had the brake pads changed a couple of months before it happened. the emergency brake was not set to on. when ABS light is on the breaking system is just normal per manual. the last time all 3 lights came on I removed the tires one at a time and sprayed the brake assembly with brake cleaning fluid. and that did the tricot but since then it came on and off without me doing anything. BTW, I also made sure that all fluids are at their full levels. what could be causing this dangerous problem? Help.
