BAS/ASR and ABS Light after Lowering

Hi Guys,

I just lowered my car today with Bilstein Shocks,
and Eibach Rear Springs, and H&R Front Springs. Don't ask me why i did that.. cuz it's a long story.

Anyhow, After getting it lowered by a local Shocks and Struts place, I found that my BAS/ASR and ABS light was ON and continues to be on after so many miles of driving, and disconnecting the battery. Any of you guys had similar problems in the past? Any idea what it could be? My throttle response continues to be very good, however my Tracking control no longer works.

I'll post pics very soon.

Thanks,

DougandhisC280 is right, that's first thing to check......if the fuse checks out ok, then mayby the knocked off one of the ABS sensors during the strut removal, lowering etc......that would explain the asr malfunction since I believe it's the same sensors that feed wheel slip info into the traction control computer.....I would take it to a good mercedes mechanic and have him run the codes, and check the sensors......

HI Guys,

I FIXED IT MYSELF!.. I'm so happy now.. Car looks great, handles great, almost stock ride quality, and the best of all, it's problem free.

I took off my right front tire, and found that the SPEED SENSOR
and Brake Wear Sensor Connector was not connected into the fender connector. So i plugged it in, drove a few feet, and WALA! The indicator lights went off.

Glad I checked it out myself before going to the stealership.

I checked for a BAS or ABS fuse, but there is no such thing....

THanks anyways.
