Can anyone tell me what is involved in repairing the locking mechanism for my manual tilt/telescoping steering column? I am extremely mechanically oriented so I have no problems making the repair, I just need to know what to do. The sliding lock mechanism moves back and forth but it doesn't lock the wheel. I would appreciate any help/advice you could give me to address this problem. Thanks!
