dash instruments purposely dark?
are the headlight switch, windshield wiper controls, and various other controls supposed to be non-illuminated when you turn on the headlights or do i have a burnt out bulb?

yes, they are supposed to be non-illuminated devices-which is quite stupid if you ask my opinion.
