recommend body shop for repaint in MA
Is $3500 realistic budget for a re-paint job for a 2000 silver C280(w202) with major rust on left front fender and driver door and several minor to moderate rust spots all around?
I want it re-painted to original color silver. It doesn't have to be as good as factory. The car doesn't need any body work beside rust. I live in Massachusetts, willing to drive it long distance if worth it. thanks for any input.

Close to the price of buying another one of the same year and model.
If you don't mind driving distances, head south to Florida and get a rust free car, and keep the one you have for parts.
Rust is a killer, especially suspension problems.
