Oil leak problem
Don't ask me why (ok, it was a cheap move on his part) but my brother got an oil change for 95 C280 not at a Mercedes Dealership, and now he has an oil leak. It's pretty bad. Everywhere he parks a few drop are always left. Anybody else had an oil leak problem or maybe know why???

Although it could be as simple as the drain plug not tightened correctly, the only time this hapenned to me, the oil filter was defective. I took it back to Goodyear, and they redid the oil change for me at no cost.

More than likely if you find a leak RIGHT after having the oil changed that you've never had before, it's the fault of the oil change place for putting the filter in wrong or not getting the drain plug in there properly.

If you had a Mercedes dealer change the oil
It's probably not a drain plug or crush washer problem-MBZ dealers have sucked the oil out for years. The oil-filter kits don't even include a drain-plug copper washer any more.
Have you tried looking from under your car to see your leak's source?.

Suggestions?
$800 is suspiciously cheap for doing the head gasket the RIGHT WAY.If you don't believe me,try it yourself-after all,it's "just a gasket",right?.
What I'm trying to tell you that there is no cheap way to replace your leaking head gasket if you want the new one to seal properly. It's time to decide if you want to sink a grand or so into your car to make it healthy again,or....
