Things to look for/thoughts?
Hi everyone,
I'm brand new to this forum, and I'll admit that my joining it is for mainly selfish reasons. Tomorrow I'll be looking at a 2000 C230 Kompressor (Sport Model, W202) as well as a 2000 E430 4Matic (W210).
Do any of you have any recommendations/suggestions as to which is better, more reliable, or less problem-prone? One of my relatives used to manage the repair division of a Mercedes dealership in Germany a decade ago, and I'll be calling him in the morning. However, I thought that perhaps you guys might have other comments about these cars and which one is better from personal experience.

I bought a 00 C230 3 years ago. Have put 60K trouble free miles on it.
Purchased it mostly for a commute vehicle, and it is just a great, fun vehicle.
Can't speak towards your other choice, but I have been very happy with my C230.
Relatively easy to maintain, and do general maintenance on.
