Late model Key Fob work in my 98 C43?
Anybody know if a late model key fob like this one will work in my 98 C43?

Don't get suckered into buying a key from anyone other than the dealer. The keys are specific to the car, and cannot be "coded" to your car. They must be ordered from the factory.

Understood. I wasn't going to buy one off of ebay. I was just wondering if I could get a later model key from the dealer and if it would work in my car.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I don't think you can get the older key from the dealer anymore. The newer key will come coded to your car.

Yep, can't get old one. I just got two new keys, one for the '99 W210 and another for the '99 W202, both which had the bigger smart key. I was given the newest style keys. Freaking cost a little over $200 for both though
