c280 97 intermittent electrical gremlins
Hi I bought my C280 2 weeks ago and have a few small issues denting my love for the car.
My front dome light seems to work intermittently and when it stops it won't work with the button.
Also my heaters seem to take forever to change temperature.
Any tips or pointers would greatly appreciated.

I don't remember, and have sold that car, follow the heater hoses from the engine.
OK, not the bulb then...
Does it fail to come on when you unlock the car ??
Does it come on when the passenger door is opened ??

There is a control unit for the dome light, sounds like you need to find that unit and swap in a know good control unit. Have you tried disconnecting the battery??
You will need the pin code for the factory radio from the dealer.
Also the button has multiple functions depending on the number of presses. If you rapidly press it a number of times, it maybe turned off.
The rear dome on my 98 required a reprograming from time to time, which was just a couple of rapid presses...
