what is this thing?

after leaving the car off for an hour, i was about to go out again but noticed this little "leakage" action going on (front passenger side)

i crawled under to figure out what the deal was. the only place where i could see liquid could come out of was this little pipe end.

what is that thing?

defroster? I think the air conditioner works in conjunction with the heater to "dry the air" in the car to remove the condensation....and that water has to go somewhere...but that is just a guess....
did the liquid have color to it?

that's just a tube to let drainage of condensation or runoff water out. What color was the liquid? did you feel it, most likely it's just water running off from the tube.

If you look in the rear underside of the car, near the tires, you'll see a tube like that, except its more extended out, again for run off.

Shouldn't be anything to worry about

it looks like your car had to go "pee-pee".

i'd rather have that than my oil leak.

If the weather was dry,

the wet spot is normal drainage from the A/C.The chilled air can't hold as much moisture, and that's what you're seeing on the ground.
