I have a 2001 c240 and it doesn't do it all the time but once in a while when it starts going up on gears it gets stuck on first gear and it wont go any further, so I replaced the transmission thinking it would be that but it still does it having a different transmission on....so what I have to do is pull over and try shifting it to park and its just stuck on drive until I turn the car off on DRIVE to put it back on PARK....weird is like it resets the shifter or something ....any idea what it can be????
